Riviera Beach is named after the French Riviera and is known as the “Best Waterfront City”. It is home to the Port of Palm Beach and a United States Coast Guard station, and has its own marina. Riviera Beach is home to Blue Heron Bridge, one of the country’s top-rated beach dive sites.
In 2015, Riviera Beach renamed part of Old Dixie Highway that runs inside the city limits as President Barack Obama Highway. The city is also home to Rapids Water Park, a water park attraction for both tourists and residents.
The City of Riviera Beach always embraces cultural equality, diversity, inclusion, equity and has many historic business-friendly neighborhoods. The City of Riviera Beach is rolling out their favorite “Welcome to Riviera Beach” and their “Glad You’re Here!” inspiring Riviera Beach welcome mats to new entrepreneurs, new startups, business founders, new residents, visitors and supporters for our many Riviera Beach value-added local businesses.
In the spirit of many enterprising early settlers, local Riviera Beach entrepreneurs have created many jobs and business opportunities in the city. With the help of local business leaders, the demand for startup ventures and the need for more goods and services has ignited the spirit of business ownership in the local Riviera Beach community.
Looking to the future with confidence, the City of Riviera Beach encourages its residents to become inventors and creators of startups in retail, music, printing, beauty, healthcare, legal, home repair services, medical support, CNA services, media, information technology (IT), restaurants, makeup, online sales, cleaning services, car repair, beauty salons, barber shops, education technology, and construction to help Riviera Beach’s local business communities to grow.
